Revenue, Yield and Diary Manager

Full time

Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.00

Leading a team of two and reporting to the General Manager, this is a rewarding and lucrative position, yet being very much hands-on and occasionally customer facing. Responsible for overall revenue growth from all areas - the 58 bedrooms, the 75 seater restaurant and the 7 private dining and meeting rooms.

Working with the Group Marketing Manager to generate good quality enquiries, then working with your two assistants to convert those enquiries into future business.

The position requires computer literacy (particularly Opera and Synxis) and sound administration skills. It will be essential that any applicant considers himself/herself to be very organized and a team player, interacting easily with the existing members of the team.

Job Purpose:            To drive the top line revenue streams of each of the three sectors of the business – Corporate Events, Special Events (weddings) and hotel yield.

Salary range:          Negotiable and excellent OTE potential

ESSENTIAL:          Please do not apply if you do not have hotel experience in a similar junior role.

 

Night Assistant Manager

2 to 3 shifts per week

Typically Friday and Saturday from 23:00 to 07:00

We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join our Front Office Team in the capacity of night assistant manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of information, message handling, transportation and luggage delivery services for the hotel guests.
  • Maintain the tidiness of the Front of House area, luggage store room and public areas.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel front doors and steps.
  • Ensure front door is always attended to meet and greet guests upon arrival.
  • Escort incoming guests to reception for check in, to rooms as when required.
  • To assist with room services with light snacks and drink orders. Delivery and preparation.
  • To be observant and ensure the security of the hotel, the staff and all the guests.
  • Complete any tasks, reports as stipulated by the Night Manager/Senior member of the Hotel Management.

 

Breakfast Waiter/Waitress
20hrs per week
Monday to Friday from 7am to 9.45am
Sat & Sunday from 8am to 10.30am

We have an excellent opportunity for a Breakfast Waiter/Waitress to join our Restaurant FOH team at The Petersham Restaurant. Providing outstanding levels of customer service will be your forte and you will have excellent Food & Beverage knowledge. It is paramount for this role that you have experience of working in a high end restaurant establishment.

Casual F&B Assistant (Conference & Banqueting)

As a Casual Food and Beverage Assistant, you are responsible for working in all areas of Food and Beverage as needed to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Casual Food and Beverage Assistant will also be required to take and deliver customer orders and work to achieve departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • You will have an open and approachable manner and thrive on interacting with people.
    • Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner.
    • Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demanding high levels of customer service.
  • Prepare set ups for tables.
    • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure compliance of brand standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas.
    • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
    • Comply with local licensing laws.
  • Be environmentally aware.
