Private Tutored Wine Dinner, Chateau Musar, Lebanon
Thursday 22nd June, 7.30pm
We are very pleased to introduce our forthcoming private tutored wine dinner, The Wines of Chateau Musar, Lebanon.
Our renowned head chef Adebola Adeshina has put together a finely balanced four-course menu, including rabbit shawarma, pan-fried salmon, new season rack of lamb, baked fig & date tart, followed with ‘Lebanese delights’. Each course has been carefully paired with one of Chateau Musar’s fine Lebanese wines.
This private wine dinner will be tutored by Jane Sowter of Chateau Musar who between each course will speak knowledgeably about each of the wines, their history and background, their individual styles and grape varieties, in a light-hearted and down to earth way. Jane will also talk about the Chateau Musar winery itself and the Hochar family.

The history of Chateau Musar
Chateau Musar is a passionate family business, now in its third generation. In 1930, at just 20 years old, Gaston Hochar founded Chateau Musar, inspired by Lebanon’s 6,000-year winemaking tradition and his travels in Bordeaux. The family have continued to run the Chateau Musar business ever since, with various members of the family working across different areas of the company.
